Kate Hudson And Chris Robinson Divorcing
“Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson have confirmed that they are separated,” Hudson’s rep Brad Cafarelli tells Us. The actress and Black Crowes frontman have been married for six years and have a son, Ryder, two-and-a-half.
Hudson, 27, and Robinson, 39, wed on December 31, 2000, after a year of dating. The couple married at the Aspen, Colorado, home of Hudson’s parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. The guest list included members of the Robinson’s band, Sally Field, Michael Douglas, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The ceremony was officiated by a Ute Indian shaman.
Earlier this year, the star of You, Me and Dupree told Hollywood.com that she knew early on in the relationship that she and Robinson would eventually marry. “I knew the first week,” said Hudson. “I remember one of the first things I said to him was, ‘Tell me everything that you think I’m not going to like about you.’ And he went on for about an hour and a half. Then I still married him. So he was always really totally up front with all that.”
Robinson was formerly married to actress Lala Cassandra Sloatman for two years. They divorced in 1998. It is Hudson’s first marriage.
