Britney Has Passed Her Drug Test
Usmagazine.com has confimed that Britney Spears has taken and passed her first drug test. The singer, 25, had been ordered by a court to submit to testing twice weekly.
A friend of Spears tells Us, “Her family and friends told her how important it was so she did it. She’s trying to do everything right finally.”
In addition to the drug tests, Spears must attend individual counseling and parenting classes.
Spears’ mother and sister arrived in Los Angeles on October 5, after a difficult week for the pop-star. Just a day earlier, a judge upheld his decision to grant Spears’ ex, Kevin Federline, custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, until further order of the court. Though Spears had been estranged from her family, a source tells Us that their reunion is going “really well! Britney is happy to be with her mom again.”
I am so surprised that she passed. Do you think maybe she could have paid someone a hefty sum to say she passed? Ummmm….I wouldn’t be surprised!

Britney Gets An Intervention
Britney Spears' mother Lynne and her sister Jamie-Lynn flew into L.A. from Kentwood, Lousiana on Friday to reportedly stage an intervention with the beleaguered singer.
However, it seems that Britney wasn’t entirely receptive to her family’s attempts to intervene in her crazy existence.
After a typical evening of erratic behaviour, the pop wreck met her mother and younger sister at her Malibu home in the early hours of Saturday morning.
But, according to OK!, by 7pm on Saturday, Britney had “stormed out of her Malibu home, where she had been locked in conversation with her family since the early morning hours, and sped off once more in her white convertible with a parade of more than three dozen photographers trailing her.”
It’s not yet clear why the talks broke down, however, before it all went wrong Brit did manage to spent some quality time with her l'il sis acting out for the L.A. paparazzi.

Britney Misses Her First Custody Visit
Britney Spears has managed to miss her first visit with her two sons - because her intercom was broken.
The troubled popstar was expecting her first supervised visit with Sean Preston and Jayden James since losing her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline at her Malibu home.
However, the next thing she knew she was getting a phone call from one of K-Fed's aides saying the party had been and gone because no one had answered their repeated buzzes of the intercom, which Britney had not realized was out of order.
A source tells the Mirror, "Brit didn't realize the intercom wasn't working. She begged them to bring the boys back.
"But they wouldn't. She was devastated that they wouldn't turn around. Brit was up in plenty of time to prepare for the boys' visit at 10am. But she waited, and waited, and they didn't show up."

Britney Has More Rules To Break
Britney Spears must complete three joint counseling sessions with ex-husband Kevin Federline by their next hearing date of Oct. 26, a court ruled Wednesday.
Documents released Thursday reveal other stricter measures L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon handed down the previous day, particularly pertaining to Spears.
The commissioner specified that "a missed [drug] test, refusal to submit to a test, or failure to respond to the testing agency's call ... shall be deemed by the court as a failed test," the documents read. Spears, 25, is still expected to complete twice-weekly random testing for drugs and alcohol.
Spears was also ordered to complete at least three individual counseling sessions by the next hearing.
With regard to her supervised visitation rights with her two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, "the monitor shall terminate visitation immediately if any conduct or action by [Spears] endangers the minor children," the documents state.
"Monitored visits can occur anywhere, even at Britney's home if she wants," family law attorney Lynn Soodik said. "However, at no time will she be left alone with the kids. Even if mother and child is in the bathroom, or on a ride at Disneyland, the monitor will be there."
According to court representative Allan Parachini, "Britney's access to her kids works out to about every other day." The visits will not necessarily occur consecutively, he said.
The latest rulings were decided after a three-hour, closed-door court session on Wednesday personally attended by Federline, 29. All orders made on Sept. 17 are still in effect.
Both Spears and Federline are required to attend the Oct. 26 hearing.

Britney Moves Into Hotel
Hours after reportedly handing her children over to Kevin Federline’s bodyguards yesterday afternoon, Britney Spears ditched her Malibu home and took up residence at a five-star Beverly Hills Hotel.
An ass-flashing Spears showed up to the Peninsula Hotel last night, where hotel security flanked the popwreck and tried to chase away any photogs who ventured onto the property.
Brit tried to cover her behind by holding her skirt down as she walked in. But here’s a solution: a skirt longer than a handkerchief.
So here is how she lost her kids,
TMZ knows exactly why Britney lost custody — she ignored the Commissioner at every turn.
Rewind to last month. L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon ordered Spears to do a number of things in order to maintain 50/50 custody.
Spears was ordered to meet with a drug counselor — she didn’t do it.
Spears was ordered to submit to drug testing — she didn’t do it.
Spears was ordered to enroll in parenting classes — didn’t do it.
Spears was also required to sign the judge’s order — again, she didn’t.
And last Friday, Commissioner Gordon prohibited both Spears and K-Fed from driving the children unless they had a valid California driver’s license. Gordon was pissed today when TMZ posted video of Spears cavalierly driving her kids around Malibu.

Britney Has Lost Her Kids
Britney Spears must hand over custody of her sons to Kevin Federline this week "until further order of the court," a judge ruled Monday after a closed-door hearing.
L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon gave no reasons in his written decision, issued after lawyers met with him in a private session requested by Federline's lawyer. The ruling says that Federline gets custody starting Wednesday.
But the ruling came after the filing of misdemeanor charges against Spears – hit-and-run and driving without a valid California license – and claims by her ex-bodyguard that she used drugs and is a danger to her children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
Gordon also previously found that Spears is a "habitual, frequent and continuous" user of alcohol and controlled substances, and ordered her to submit to random twice-weekly testing.
Another hearing is set for Wednesday.
The singer, who has 50-50 custody with Federline, was seen around town with her children over the weekend, and on Sunday they had an early dinner at Taverna Tony in Malibu, as a crush of paparazzi camped outside.
"She seemed fine," the restaurant's owner, Tony Koursaris, says. "She was very comfortable having dinner here with her boys. ... The kids had a good time. Then we had to fight the paparazzi, of course."
The photographers, however, did come in handy for Spears at one point over the weekend. Around midnight Saturday, her Mercedes ran out of gas during a supermarket run. The photographers went to the gas station and helped Spears tank up her vehicle.

OVERDOSED in a drug-strewn hotel room on a binge with junkie lover Howie Day just days after checking out of rehab. “She was in a terrible state, just sweating and shaking. Her pupils were huge—I’ve never seen her so bad,” said Tony, 27.
SHOCKINGLY, he believes, was under the influence of drugs and booze at home while her two sons Sean, two, and year-old Jayden James, were there.
SECRETLY snorted cocaine over TWO NIGHTS with pals in a trendy LA nightclub.
Frightening Man mountain, 6ft 7in Barretto —nicknamed Fat Tony—told us: “I gave evidence to the court because Britney is out of control and needs help.
“I have done this for her children. She’s not a good mother. She has mental problems. With her drug and booze issues, her home is no place for kids to be raised.”
His last-minute evidence capped a nightmare week for Britney in which she was dumped by her manager Jeff Kwatinetz and her lawyer.
She hired married dad-of-two Tony—a former private eye—days after checking out of the Promises rehab centre in Malibu on March 26 and publicly declaring she had beaten booze and drug problems.
Tony is a drugs expert after going on a ten-week police course about their dangers. He realised Britney’s willpower had not lasted—on the frightening night of May 2 in Los Angeles, just hours before the start of her comeback tour in Anaheim.
She went on a date with pop artist Day, 26—who she’d met in rehab—telling her worried protection team she didn’t need them. Tony said: “We did security checks on Howie and told her he was trouble. But she ignored us.”
Hours later hysterical Britney, 25, called aides, claiming Day was refusing to let her leave their hotel room. Tony recalled: “She said she wanted to cancel the tour. She was very confused. We asked her if she was OK and reminded her she had a show to do. Then Howie came on the phone and started arguing with us. We knew we had to get to her fast.”
Tony raced to LA’s plush Mondrian Hotel with another bodyguard and Britney’s best friend and PA Alli Sims. When they got to their room they found the door open and an appalling scene inside.
Tony said: “We could see Britney all red-eyed from crying. Howie was lying in his boxers asleep on the bed. The hotel room was trashed.
“There were half-eaten plates of food everywhere. There were blankets all over the floor, clothes strewn everywhere. The trash was emptied everywhere over the floor.
“The entire place was littered with empty beer bottles and liquor bottles, small glasses of ice and cigarette butts everywhere.
“On the surface of the dresser, I could see mounds of white powder and a straw on top. I suspected it was cocaine or powdered methamphetamines.
“By the side I spotted a glass pipe, which I knew from my drugs training was often used with crystal meth.”

Britney Spears may have lost her lawyer and her manager, but shes keeping her kids.
Mel Goldsman, an attorney at Freid and Goldsman, where SpearsҒ new lawyer Marci Levine works, tells The Insider that yesterdays hearing affirmed Spears and FederlineҒs joint custody agreement.
This news comes despite new claims from a touted mysteryӔ witness, former Spears bodyguard Tony Barretto, that even after her February stint in rehab, Spears was using drugs. Barretto joins a long list of former Spears employees who may testify against her in the upcoming custody battle, from bodyguard Daimon Shippen to assistant Shannon Funk.

Britney Is On Drugs
Turns out the secret witness in Britney Spears' custody hearing is Tony Barretto, a former bodyguard for Britney. He filed a declaration in the custody battle between Britney and Kevin Federline today, claiming that Britney used drugs post-rehab and was nude a lot. Anyone shocked? Me neither. TMZ reports:
Barretto started working for Britney when she got out of rehab, and was fired on May 17 because, said Allred, He did not hear her when he was asked to pick up her hat.Ӕ
Barretto, himself the father of young children, came forward, Allred says, because while working for Britney, he became very concernedӔ about the safety of her two boys. Allred also said that she has spoken to County Counsel for Child Protective Services about Barretto's concerns.

Britney’s Lawyer Says She “Just Want’s To Be A Mom”
Britney Spears "just wants to be a mom," her lawyer, Laura Wasser, said Friday adding, "I believe this is a frustrating time for her."
Wasser spoke to reporters outside the courtroom after another hearing in the custody fight between Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline. TMZ.com and CelebTV cited court documents signed Friday saying Spears will continue to pay Federline $20,000 in spousal support.
However, a legal source close to the case tells PEOPLE that it "was an old document filed for housekeeping purposes... All the financial issues in this case have already been decided."
The source says Federline's spousal support of $20,000 a month ends in November. "But he still gets child support ֖ an amount that's already been decided. He can come back and ask for more child support, but he has not yet made that request. The only [additional] money that [his lawyer] has requested is to cover his attorney fees."
Wasser did not confirm any details about what was discussed at the hearing. Asked if this is a frustrating time for Spears because of the negative reactions to her appearance last Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, Wasser said, "Yes. I think she just wants to be a mom, and both of her kids' birthdays are this week, and I think she would've liked to celebrate with them without having to worry about the entire nation the entire world ֖ being concerned about what's going on with her personally and her custody battle with Mr. Federline."
Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said outside court that, as far as how Federline was faring, "He is doing great."
Asked if Spears's recent public appearance is helping or hindering her case, Kaplan replied, "I don't know what thing you are referring to, and I'm not going to talk about any strategy. I think how she is doing is something for her attorneys to address."
Wasser, when asked to address a story that Spears tried to offer Federline a settlement, which he was resistant to accept, replied, "I don't believe that's true. They met and are trying to work it out so they don't have to have a judge make determinations for them regarding their kids. I don't know that he was resistant or she was resistant. They are both trying to work to come up with something together."
On Wednesday, Spears, 25, attended an unscheduled meeting with Federline, 29, and his attorney at the Century City offices of Wasser. The meeting fell on son Jayden James's first birthday and five days before the parents are due to face each other before a family court judge on Monday.
Son Sean Preston turned 2 on Friday.
Spears and Federline currently have 50-50 custody, but Federline is seeking more time, serving subpoenas on people in Spears's inner-circle to show problems in her parenting skills.

What was supposed to be the comeback of the year turned into just another sad episode in the saga of Britney Spears. Her much-hyped performance to open the MTV Video Music Awards fell seriously flat with an out-of-shape Britney looking confused, nervous and forgetting to lip-synch at times. "It definitely could have been a lot better," said singer Akon to the AP. "She seemed nervous... you could tell by the expression on her face. Instead of just blocking everybody out and doing her thing, you could tell she was thinking about it."

Britney’s Naked Night
Britney Spears enjoyed a naked romp in a hotel swimming pool after her video shoot.
The 'Toxic' singer - who had broken down in tears while shooting the promo for comeback single 'Get Back' earlier that day - shocked onlookers by downing cocktails before stripping naked, diving into the pool and simulating sex with an extra from the video at Los Angeles' Standard Hotel.
Matt Encinias claims Britney was intent on seducing him all evening and straddled him as they passionately kissed in the pool just hours after meeting.
He is quoted by Us Weekly magazine as saying: "Britney was drinking Mojitos and Jack Daniels. She was the first one to undress, and then everyone else followed. I turned around and saw that she was topless and she had fake tattoos of flowers on her nipples from the shoot. Her assistant said Britney wanted to make out with me.
I was told all she wanted to do that night was kiss a boy,
"And thatӒs what she did. Mission accomplished.
"Britney straddled me and put her legs around me. I was feeling her breasts and kissing her on the neck. Her body was very nice. It was sexual and sensual kissing. She is a phenomenal kisser.

Britney Hits And Runs
Britney Spears pulled off a smash and dash in broad daylight yesterday -- bolting after she slammed into a frickin' parked car! Hit me baby one more time!
As the Britney was pulling into a Studio City vitamin store on Monday, she banged her Mercedes into a parked station wagon in a botched attempt at parking. After scraping up her wheels in the crash, Brit screamed, "I'm a brainiac!" Well, there's no denying it now!
Not once seen checking out the other vehicle, a micro-dressed Brit popped a ladylike squat in front of her Mercedes to inspect the damage, giving a few photogs another view up her dress. Will she never learn?
Brit then walked right past the scraped up wagon next to her, and left without leaving a note for the owner.
UPDATE: TMZ has confirmed that Miss Spears has not contacted the owner of the station wagon. Damage to the other car was minor. TMZ spoke to the owner of the vehicle, who said that she hopes the former Mrs. Federline will do the right thing.

Britney Is Not Getting Paid
OK! Magazine has refused to pay Britney Spears for her photo shoot and tell-all interview.
PerezHilton.com has reported that the troubled pop-star was set to receive US $1-million for her tell-all interview and photo-shoot with the magazine. However because she was a less than cooperative OK! has now refused to pay Britney - and is revealing details about her crazy on-set behaviour.
According to the magazine Britney walked out of the interview still wearing over $10,000 worth of borrowed clothing;
֓Britney dismissively refused to take it off said the mag ԓAnd after consuming her meal rubbed grease from her fingers into the front and back of the dress. It was ruined!
ԓHer new Yorkie puppy, London, followed suit by pooping on an expensive Zac Posen gown.
A rep for OK! last night added: ԓWe can confirm Britney left the interview wearing...items and acted in the ways stated above.
Editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens added: ԓIt was like a cry for help really, it wasnt normal. The photo shoot and interview was requested by Britney and was supposed to be the fallen idolҒs comeback story and tell-all.Ӕ

Britney And Her Mom Get Into It
The tussle between Britney Spears and mama Lynne has gotten out of control -- and erupted into what Star is calling a "shocking slapfight."
The feuding Spears reportedly got into it last month, when Lynne "barged" into Brit's house, demanding to take her grandkids out for the day. Then, says the tab (via MSNBC), Lynne "began denigrating Britney's mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time," leading to the bitchfight.
Meanwhile, Page Six is reporting that Brit's trying to do everything -- including her own management and publicity -- on her own. She was supposedly at a bar on West 22nd Street in New York "signing contracts."

Britney Hand Serves Her Mom Court Papers
Britney Spears and her mother Lynne won’t be making up any time soon. On Thursday, the paparazzi videotaped Britney delivering her mother a letter from her lawyers, which TMZ claims was a warning to stay away from her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James
Britney presented Lynne with the letter in Valencia, California where Britney's sister Jamie Lynn was filming. In an ironic twist to the Spears saga, Britney’s letter allegedly asks Lynne to stay away from Sean and Jayden because she in unstable. Britney’s issues with her mother are said to stem from Lynne’s insistence that Britney go to rehab because of her instability.
TMZ reports, “We're told the letter bluntly asks Lynne to stay away from the children if she is taking any medications that would impair her ability to be around them. We're also told Spears has become super-protective of her kids and is taking back a lot of the control that others were exercising over her life.”

Britney Has No Shame
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are getting back together, it has been reported.
The 'Toxic' singer used her recent Mexico break to review her relationship and told friends she hopes to patch things up with her ex-husband.
A source told New Weekly magazine: "When she was on vacation she was in the best mood she's been in for ages.
"She confessed it was because she and Kevin are slowly moving towards getting back together."
Since the couple - who have two sons 21-month-old Sean Preston nine-month-old Jayden James - split in November Britney went off the rails,
indulging in wild partying and ending up in rehab after shaving her head.
Details of the 26-year-old's divorce from Kevin were finalized in March and friends are shocked to learn the pair are considering a reconciliation.
It has also been alleged Britney has been having secret meetings and tearful heart-to-hearts with the 28-year-old and are hoping to give their marriage another go for their children.

Brittany Murphy's new husband doesn't just look like a loser, he is one.
Us Weekly is reporting that Factory Girl executive producer and writer Simon Monjack has a very shady past.
After dating only four months, Brittany and her Prince Charming wed in a private L.A. home with only their families present. Hope she got a good pre-nup...she's gonna need it!
Among Monjak's troubled: two warrants for his arrest in Virginia for alleged credit-card theft and fraud; an unpaid $6,087 legal bill, and a $502,910 judgment against him by a British investment firm.
He also was jailed earlier this year for overstaying his tourist visa, and Murphy, 29, had to bail him out. "Simon began pushing for marriage, since he was going to be deported," says a source, adding that Murphy paid for her own engagement ring.
How tragic!
At least she knows it's real.
Us Weekly reports that Monjack gave his former fiance, British film producer Taira Rafiq, an engagement ring he had told her was a diamond but was, in fact, cubic zirconia. Ewwww!
"Taira tried to get in touch with Brittany to warn her," a Rafiq pal tells Us.
Monjack tells Us, "It is a real tragedy that success, greed, envy and celebrity are the motivation for attacking my family and character."

Britney Sends Her Fans Another Letter
Britney Spears has spoken out directly to her fans for the first time about hitting “rock bottom.”
In a new message posted today on her official website, the singer seems to lay the blame for her erratic, head-shaving behaviour on her former manager and her marriage split from Kevin Federline.
“Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD. I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce.
“I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn't know who to go to. I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost.”

Britney Get’s Booed
Britney Spears was booed by fans after being caught out lip-synching during a 'live' performance.
The troubled singer was performing at the House of Blues in Florida on Saturday night when technical glitches saw her backing CD skip repeatedly, exposing her miming.
A source is quoted by gossip website TMZ.com: "It was an ugly scene. The crowd started jeering and heckling her. Britney looked absolutely devastated.
"When the CD started skipping during the song 'Do Somethin'', Britney hid her face and turned her back. Then, when it resolved itself, she turned around with this look on her face like she was going to puke."
Hundreds of fans had queued for hours and spent as much as $500 a ticket to see the show.
The appearance was part of a series of 15-minute concerts which have seen Britney perform live for the first time in three years under the pseudonym M+Ms.
After the initial hitch, Britney suffered further technical problems, which left her "rolling around on the floor with her headset broken".
Britney is not the first star to suffer the embarrassment of being caught miming.
Ashlee Simpson was left stunned during a performance on US comedy show 'Saturday Night Live' in 2004 when the wrong backing track was accidentally played, leaving her mouthing the wrong words.
Madonna was also famously blasted by Sir Elton John for lip-synching at her stage shows.
