Avril Is An Asshole!
In an interview with Britain's Q Magazine, Avril Lavigne goes into detail about about how much she's in love with herself:
On dealing with her incredible success:
"Selling 24 million albums hasn't really affected me, but it has changed things. I can't walk into a room full of people any more without everybody turning their heads, and I can only eat in certain restaurants where I know I won't get hassled. But that's OK. I was born to do this, and so I've learned how to cope."
On her competition:
"Someone like Kelly Clarkson is beautiful and has a pretty voice, but with me you get a much stronger image. I'm tough, I have a look that girls want to copy, and I sound a particular way. It's good if you're not easily ignored. And I'm not."
On her generosity:
"I am a very giving person. When the hurricane thing happened, I went to my closet, filled six boxes of stuff and said to my assistant, 'Take it to Katrina!' I also like to give stuff to people who are my 'workers,' especially if they don't make much money."
On her polarizing personality:
"People love me and people hate me, but I'm comfortable in my own skin and that's what counts. And anyway if you do hate me, you're the loser, not me."
If everything she said didn't make you want to punch a wall, you're a moron. Sorry, I really don't know how else to say it. She's everything that's wrong with music, but somehow thinks she's John Lennon. Only in her makeup chair and her diary will a 4ft. tall 100 pound white girl from Canada ever be considered "tough." In my experience, 100 pound white girls tend to me more "cooperative."

Avril Buys Shanna’s Old Mansion
Avril Lavigne and her husband, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, have bought the Bel-Air home formerly owned by Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler for $9.5 million.
According to the L.A. Times, Lavigne, 22, originally wanted to build a home but settled on the 12,000 square foot mansion that the Barkers lived in while filming their MTV reality show Meet the Barkers.
The three-story gated house has eight bedrooms and 10 1/2 bathrooms. Built in Tuscan-style, the residence sits on one acre, has an elevator, an office, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a steam shower, a sauna, a pool, a spa and a 10-car garage.
Lavigne is currently selling her Beverly Hills home for $6.2 million.
The Canadian-born singer’s third album, The Best Damn Thing, is due out April 17. She will also be the musical guest on next weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Shia LaBeouf.

Avril Gets A New Nose
Rock babe, Avril Lavigne may have had her nose done reports LifeandStyleMag.com.
Now that Avril, 22, is a Ford model, it looks like the former punk princess has a picture-perfect nose -- and she may have had some help getting it! New York City-based plastic surgeon Dr. George Lefkovits thinks it's likely Avril had a rhinoplasty -- and a much-needed one at that. "Her old nose was too short and bulbous," he says. "The new nose has better balance and proportion. The tip is more refined."

Avril Needs Her Ass Kicked
For the second time in two days, TMZ has a video of Avril Lavigne leaving the L.A. club, Hyde, and spitting on people. On Tuesday night, she spit in the lens of a camera while tucked away safely in her SUV. However, on Wednesday night, it was much worse:
After celebrating her 22nd birthday at Hyde, the wannabe punk-rocker unleashed a torrent of "#@!% yous" to the paparazzi and autograph seekers, even signing the pleasant greeting on some pictures. Avril and her entourage then made their way to the safety of their SUV...Moments later, she displayed her masterful sharpspitting skills by hitting one photographer in the face while laughing hysterically and screaming, "bitch!"

Avril And Deryck Are Married!
Pop star Avril Lavigne wed Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley at Villa Lilybelle, a private estate in Montecito, California, on Saturday afternoon.
The Catholic ceremony began at 5pm and lasted only 20 minutes. An orchestra played “The Wedding March” as Lavigne walked down the aisle on the arm of her father John.
”Avril looked beautiful! Her hair was very bright blonde. Her dress was simple, but elegant,” a witness tells Us. After the groom kissed the bride, guests flung rose petals on the newlyweds as they traipsed up the aisle.
“Attendees cheered with excitement, and were so stoked for the newlyweds,” says the witness.
Lavigne, 21, wore a Vera Wang custom-made ivory strapless tissue organza gown with wrapped bodice and appliqué lace beaded skirt. After the ceremony, the bride changed into a Vera Wang ivory strapless draped Chantilly lace gown. Lavigne’s bridesmaids wore Vera Wang draped petal pink crepe chiffon gowns. Whibley and his five groomsmen wore tuxes from the Boss Black collection by Hugo Boss.
The wedding, coordinated by wedding planner to the stars Mindy Weiss, was outfitted with hundreds of white roses. The expansive pink Spanish villa featured a large pond complete with white swans. There were a little over 100 guests in attendance, mostly close friends and family (no celebrities).
Both rockers hail from Ontario, Canada, and were friends for several years before they began dating in 2004. Whibley, 26, proposed to Lavigne in Venice, Italy, in June 2004 while she was on tour in Europe. It is the first marriage for both.
“I might look like a tough chick - and I am - but I’m also a hopeless romantic inside,” Lavigne has said.

Avril And Deryck To Wed Sooner Than later
Etalk reports that a California ceremony is imminent for the punk princess and the Sum 41 front man. Friends and family of the pair were reportedly notified days ago of the plan and told to book their tickets immediately for Santa Barbara, where the Canadian rockers have a house together. Earlier reports had suggested the wedding would take place Aug. 26, but media scrutiny apparently spurred the couple to move up the date.
Lavigne's publicist Sean Cordner would not confirm the reports.
"I cannot comment on the personal lives of our artists," said Cordner.
The Insider website reports that Lavigne's bridal shower was last Friday. The racy gifts were said to include a sexy red bra, a thong and some handcuffs.
Other reports suggest wild days may soon be over for the Complicated songstress and her party boy fiance Whibley, once linked to Paris Hilton.
Lavigne, 21, of Napanee, Ont., and Whibley, 26, of Toronto, are said to have put a nursery in their home.
